The Department of Biomedical Informatics is one of five coordinated doctoral programs in biomedical sciences in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Columbia University Medical Center. The Department of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University offers a variety of training opportunities to meet different needs:Those interested in the Free-Standing MA program, the PhD program, or the Postdoctoral Fellowships must apply through the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences online application by the application deadline of December 3, 2012. Applications should be submitted as close to the deadline as possible. Foreign students without permanent residency or US Citizenship interested in either the non-degree or degree-granting postdoctoral position must contact individual faculty members with whom they wish to work to inquire if they have funds available to support their training. Interested applicants to the MD/PhD program must apply through Columbia Medical School. Applicants interested in the Certificate Program apply through the School of Continuing Education.
