Me and my dog Jester.
I am currently working on a Ph.D. in Medical Informatics at Columbia University. The main focus of my research is in Medical Language Processing (MLP). MLP is an extension on Natural Language Processing (NLP), a sub-discipline of Computer Science devoted to creating systems that can understand human language (English, French, etc). I am also interested in artificial intelligence applications in medicine and using controlled vocabularies in MI. For more information, please see my research interests.
