Personal:

I am in my first year as a Masters Student at Columbia University studying in the Department of Biomedical Informatics. A few years ago I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh where I studied Bioengineering. Here in New York City, I live in the Forest Hills section of the borough of Queens. Thanks for stopping by my site. If you have any questions or comments please send me an email.

Research:

Currently I am working on a research project involving the creation of a clinical trials task ontology. Specifically, I have been researching existing terminologies coverage of the clinical trials task domain. I recently submitted an abstract for possible presentation at the annual symposium of the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) which will be held in Washington DC November 11-15, 2006. For further information concerning the field of informatics and this research project, please see the Biomedical Informatics and LATICE links above.
