| I am a fifth year Doctoral student on Computational Biology track in the Department of Bio-Medical Informatics. I have a Biophysics & Engineering backgrounds from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Russia, and got my Bachelor's in Biology from Columbia University in 1999. My research adviser is Dr. Andrey Rzhetsky and my academic adviser is Dr. Carol Friedman. I investigate molecular network properties of genes responsible for inherited human disease. I was also involved in development of a disease triangulation method for identifying novel disease gene candidates. The method is based on probabilistic modeling of genetic disease on molecular network. |
