Program Analyst

Preferred Start Date: 05/01/2019 or later this year

Position Title: Program Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities: This opening is sponsored by a couple of NIH funded research projects for curating large-scale electronic health records data and sequencing data.  The ideal applicant is expected to serve as the data architect for our rich clinical and genomic datasets and help clinicians and investigators to use these data for clinical research recruitment, outcome analysis, and disease knowledge discovery.

Position Qualifications: Suitable postdoctoral applicants
1. Strong computational background is expected. Should hold a BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, Biostatistics, Informatics, or Information Science; or an M.D. with a strong computational or data science background;
2. Should be proficient in common programming languages such as Java, Python, R, etc.
3. Should be familiar with full stack development including frontend user interfaces and backend database management systems.
4. Should have an excellent ability to collaborate and be able to work with interdisciplinary teams and support many projects simultaneously.
