Postdoctoral Research Scientist (Machine Learning)
Description:
A Postdoctoral Research Scientist position is immediately available in the Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. The Postdoctoral Research Scientist will carry out research in the Elhadad Lab and will lead a project in machine learning for health and healthcare on the topic of data-powered women’s health and learning from observational health data.
Requirements:
- PhD in an area of Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics with strong expertise in machine learning
- Track record of successful research
- Interest in the clinical and medical domain
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and inter-disciplinary environment.
Experience with machine learning for healthcare is an advantage, but not required.
